Matthew Conboy is a writer director whose work includes narrative, documentary and advertising films. He was born and raised in Oakland, CA and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Eugene Lang College at the New School University for Fiction and Playwriting. In 2007, he was the co-founder of Death By Audio, a music venue in Brooklyn (named after the effect pedal company of the same name). He has directed two short fiction films, as well as the short documentary “Checking in At Twenty” for Pitchfork Media. His commissioned work includes commercials for ad agencies and music videos.
