When Uganda’s brutal dictator Idi Amin died 2003, many were surprised that he was living a suburban life in exile in Saudi Arabia. That’d he’d hang out in the local super market and get massages at the health club. But Italian journalist Riccardo Orizio wasn’t. He’s been interviewing disgraced exiled dictators for years. He put them together in a book called “Talk of the Devil.” Anne Strainchamps wanted to know what it was like to sit down and talk with a man like Idi Amin.
