Wisconsin Public Television producer Patty Loew talks with Anne Strainchamps about her TV documentary "Way of the Warrior," which deals with the experience of Native American veterans of America's wars from WWI to the present day. Patty talks about her grandfather's diary account of WWI, tells the incredible WWII story of a Crow soldier who became his tribe's war chief, and says what Native America has to teach mainstream America is how to re-integrate warriors into society after combat. And we hear excerpts from the program, which will air nationally around Veteran's Day.
