Philosopher and religious scholar
Michael Muhammad Knight is an American novelist, essayist, and journalist. His writings are popular among American Muslim youth. He obtained a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard University in 2011 and received his Ph.D. in Islamic studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016. Knight teaches in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Central Florida. His books include "The Taqwacores," "Tripping with Allah" and "Magic in Islam."
