Poet
Kimberly Blaeser was the Wisconsin Poet Laureate 2015-2016, and is a professor at UW-Milwaukee. She is the author of three collections of poetry: Apprenticed to Justice, Absentee Indians and Other Poems, and Trailing You. Blaeser is Anishinaabe, and an enrolled member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe who grew up on the White Earth Reservation in northwestern Minnesota.
