Guy Dauncey is a speaker, author, and organizer who works to develop a positive vision of a sustainable future, and to translate that vision into action.
He is the author or co-author of nine books, including The Climate Challenge: 101 Solutions to Global Warming (November 2009); and the award-winning Cancer: 101 Solutions to a Preventable Epidemic.
He is the founder and President of the BC Sustainable Energy Association; co-founder and past-co-chair of Prevent Cancer Now; and Publisher of EcoNews, a monthly newsletter that promotes the vision of a sustainable Vancouver Island. His home page is www.earthfuture.com
In August 2009, Guy delivered the 2009 Robert and Birgit Bateman Lecture at Royal Roads University, Victoria on Go Green or Bust: The Birth of a New Civilization.
In February 2010, he held the John J. Rhodes Chair in Public Policy and American Institutions at The Barret Honors College, Arizona State University, and delivered the 2010 Rhodes Lecture on The Challenge of Tackling the Global Warming Crisis.
