Adam Kotsko is Assistant Professor of Humanities at Shimer College in Chicago. He is the author of a trilogy on negative character traits in popular culture, consisting of Awkwardness, Why We Love Sociopaths, and Creepiness. Adam holds a PhD in Theology, Ethics, and Culture from the Chicago Theological Seminary, and his primary research areas are contemporary European philosophy and the history of Christian thought. His book The Prince of This World: The Life and Legacy of the Devil will be published by Stanford University Press in 2016.
