The stereotype of photojournalists is that they’re adrenaline junkies. Risk takers. And they are. Anne Strainchamps has interviewed a bunch of them over the years, and the thing that always strikes her is their humility. Maybe that’s because at the end of the day, their job is to erase themselves, to become the lens that lets us see the world. The pain and suffering and also the beauty. Here photojournalist Brendan Bannon talks about a photo he took at the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya.
