Scholar, Literary Journalist
Umberto Rossi is an Italian independent scholar and literary journalist. He has published essays on science fiction on Science-Fiction Studies, Extrapolation and Foundation, postmodernist fiction, war literature, and comics studies. He has published a monograph on Philip K. Dick's fiction, The Twisted World of Philip K. Dick (McFarland 2011), has organized the 2000 international conference PKD at the Millennium (University of Macerata, Italy), has translated into Italian P.K. Dick's The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, is a member of the Science Fiction Research Association, lives in Rome, Italy and teaches English language & literature in a Roman liceo.
