Alice Dreger is on the faculty of the Medical Humanities and Bioethics Program of Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. She’s the author of “One of Us: Conjoined Twins and the Future of Normal.”  Dreger tells Jim Fleming that conjoined twins usually see themselves as individuals, but view being joined as a positive thing. In fact, separated twins have many more health complications.
