Embar is a Milwaukee-based computer programmer who won the 2012 Loebner Prize Competition for his chatbot, Chip Vivant. Embar thinks that we have a long way to go before computers can fool humans, but also believes that there are plenty of opportunities to use computers to comfort and help people.
