In 2008, journalist Anand Gopal travelled to Afghanistan to find out how the US-led war has affected the country. Over the course of six years, he spoke with civilians, warlords and Taliban fighters in order to better understand the major players in the Afghan conflict. In his book, "No Good Men Among the Living," he argues the distinction between America's allies and enemies in the country isn't always clear.
