Mick Foley thrilled wrestling fans for years as the character “Mankind.” He’s since written two best-selling autobiographies and two children’s books. Now he’s a novelist. He reads a passage from “Tietam Brown” and talks with Steve Paulson about his wrestling days, especially the Royal Rumble which was devastatingly captured in the documentary film “Beyond the Mat.” Foley explains how he tried to combine the brutal punishment of pro wrestling with being a good father.
