The play was written by Helen Benedict based on interviews collected for her book "The Lonely Soldier: The Private War of Women Serving in Iraq." Benedict talks with Anne Strainchamps about the sexual harassment and sexual abuse endured by female soldiers in Iraq which often begins before they leave the United States.
