Faith Adiele flunked out of Harvard and went to Thailand to study languages. There, she became the first ordained Black Buddhist Nun.  She’s written about it in a memoir called “Meeting Faith: The Forest Journals of a Black Buddhist Nun.”  Adiele tells Jim Fleming she wasn’t religious when she went to Thailand, but believes in getting outside of your comfort zone as a means of finding yourself.
