Elisabeth Sifton is the author of “The Serenity Prayer: Faith and Politics in Times of Peace and War.” She’s also the daughter of theologian Reinhold Niebuhr, who wrote the famous “Serenity Prayer.” Sifton tells Steve Paulson about the history of the Serenity Prayer and her father’s social activism.
