Carolyn Spiro and Pamela Spiro Wagner are twin sisters and co-authors of “Divided Minds: Twin Sisters and Their Journey through Schizophrenia.” The sisters tell Anne Strainchamps that they felt almost psychically connected until they were in sixth grade and Pamela began hearing voices. Carolyn went on to become a psychiatrist but her voice never had as much authority as Pamela’s hallucinations.
