Barbara Ehrenreich on writing the American labor story

If you've read any journalism about working and earning barely enough to get by in America, you've likely encountered "Nickel and Dimed," "Fear of Falling," or another of many books by the author Barbara Ehrenreich. Sitting together to reflect on Barbara's years of work to shine a light on the experiences of middle and lower class Americans, her friend and colleague Alissa Quart recorded this interview with her in 2021. Ehrenreich died in September of 2022.
