Rita Dove, former Poet Laureate of the United States, talks with Jim Fleming about her book-length verse narrative, "Sonata Mulattica," which tells the story of George Bridgetower, the mixed race violinist who first performed and bore the original dedication of what we now know as "The Kreutzer" sonata.
