Kent State & DEVO

This week marks the anniversary of National Guardsmen firing into a group of protesting students at Kent State University, killing four and wounding 11. That reminded us of our conversation with DEVO co-founder Gerald Casale. He was at the riots and two of his friends were killed. The experience changed Casale’s life and inspired him to create DEVO.
