I do both. I often write things in "longhand", then, type it out on a computer, to revise and/or edit it, only to write it in a blank journal. It isn't a question of either/or. Besides, people still have to sign their name on checks, etc., so, handwriting (even in this age of technology) still has a place.

Hello Ms. Florey,
I heard your wonderful talk on TTBOOK last night and felt that you would be interested in the project we are preparing to launch this spring. As a teacher for 25 years, I developed a new system for teaching handwriting in the Roman alphabet, and I have recently patented it. I am preparing a series of textbooks called "The Power of Letters" and we are planning to publish them in every langauge we can reach, and then donate 100% of the profits to literacy projects around the world. You can learn more about our goals and methods at www.globa-lingua.org. I am seeking the help of anyone who loves letters to get the word out about this project, and I felt that you would be interested in it. I would very much like to have a conversation with you and let you know more about it. In the meantime, I wish you the best of luck and success in all your endeavors.
