This debut novel, published in 2009 in the UK, chronicles in devastating detail the kidnapping, incarceration and torture of an ordinary teenager six months after 9/11.  The details of the story are fictional, but its most important element is true:  there really are teenagers imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay.
